The Guided Solution Spread utilizes numerology to provide the Reader with a snapshot view of the Querent’s current situation. [Note:  The Querent is the person that the reading is for.]  A question may be explicitly asked, but need not be.

Position 1 – Current Situation

Provides basic information about the situation, the conscious or unconscious question held by the Querent. As position one, this card shows what is apparent, on the surface, and most likely within the Querent’s awareness. It represents the starting point for greater understanding of the current aspect of growth.

Position 2 – Underlying Aspect

Represents the other side of the coin. Indicates what is at work beneath the surface. This card reveals the true value of the current situation, the place from which real growth begins. Position 1 and 2 together form a more complete picture of the current situation.

Position 3 – The Past

Highlights significant aspects of the past as they relate to the current situation. As a three, this position shows how the current situation was created, namely what circumstances or conditions led up to the present. All situations are self-created and this card sheds light as to how that may have occurred.

Position 4 – Greatest Strength

Indicates the Querent’s strengths or assets available to deal with the current situation. The four in the Tarot marks the end of linear growth. This strength has led the Querent to the current level of awareness and/or vibration, enabling stability, but might now be keeping him/her from further growth.

Position 5 – Greatest Challenge

Indicates what part of the current situation is most difficult for the Querent. In the Tarot, fives often look grim and unpleasant. However, it is important to keep in mind that without the challenges presented by the fives, the plateau of the fours would not be surpassed and thus growth would cease. As such, the challenge indicated by the card in position 5 is more significant than the strength shown in position 4. Were it not for the grain of sand, the pearl would never be created.

Position 6 – Initial outcome

Shows the most probable outcome or solution as seen at present. This is where the Querent will likely end up in the near future if he or she continues in the same manner as they have been.

Position 7 – Guide Card - Recommended Action

This card enables spirit to directly recommend to the Querent a course of action, state of being, or area of focus. Within the current situation, there is an opportunity for even greater growth beyond that which is gained from the reading. As a seven, this card asks the Querent to dig deeper. The Querent, of course, may choose to heed or not this guidance as it may demand more from them then they wish to perform at this time.

Position 8 – Higher outcome

Shows the Querent what can be gained by following the guidance shown in position 7. The eight represents a more systemic solution than the six. It can be a quantum leap forward.

This spread is best used when the Querent wishes to seek higher guidance for their situation. It does show the Querent where s/he is headed, but also provides insight and guidance.

   The situation indicated at position 3 has already occurred. The current situation at position 1 is likely well understood. And the strength indicated at position 4 is no longer what will propel the Querent forward.

It is therefore the cards shown in the Path of Evolution that provide the greatest insight.
